Maronite Catholic Society- Australia welcomes and congratulates ....

..... And it is just about time... to reach into the desired hope after traveling in a long tunnel.... the hope of reconciliation between brothers .... and what is worse and gloomier  than to live or co-exist without the expanse of hope .....

To this end, we hardly believe the latest good and exotic news that gives us hope again, "to overcome the past and move forward," in the process of salvation of our beloved Lebanon  .....

We, in the Australian Maronite Catholic Society, hope and wish that this reconciliation is completed in practice and evolve into other real and actual reconciliations in the hope of overcoming all the past grievances suffered by the Maronites and which in fact plagued the whole Lebanese society in Lebanon and abroad..

It is the chance of a lifetime and the opportunity of the century that we should build on and benefit from as it comes at a time when we all desperately need it.....

What we need to do now is to open all our hearts to be and remain the “Blessed seed” in our beloved homeland Lebanon and the rest of the world .... Our consciences and our common interests  will make us see clearly what needs to be done in order to achieve the desired results ....

We, in the Maronite Catholic Society- Australia, President and Members, welcome this historic reconciliation and extend our congratulations to both the head of the Free Patriotic Movement General Michel Aoun and to the head of the Lebanese Forces Dr. Samir Geagea on this important achievement which undoubtedly will reflect positively on all components of Lebanese society in all walks of life, with the blessing of the  Maronite Patriarch His Beatitude Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros El Raii ... trusting and hoping that the favoured outcome will be the election of the President of the Republic of Lebanon the soonest possible ...
